Delete Your Account or Data

This page is for anyone who uses papershot, the app made by Wellbayt LLC-FZ. It says how to delete your account, or what you added to a moment as a guest, and how to get a copy of your data first. You do not need the app to ask.

1. If You Have an Account

In the app

1. Open papershot and go to Settings.
2. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Without the app

Email support@papershot.app with "Delete my account" in the subject line, from the email address on your account. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, write from any address and tell us the relay address Apple made for papershot (you find it in your Apple Account settings, under Sign in with Apple). We check that the request comes from you, then, within 30 days of your email, delete the account just as the app does and tell you when it is done.

What goes, and when

• At once: the moments you host, with everything in them (their files at once, their records within about two hours); your profile photo; any guest profile from your phone; and your push notification and Live Activity tokens. You are signed out everywhere, and if you signed in with Apple, we tell Apple to end papershot's access.
• After 30 days: the account itself and its consent records, for good. From then on, what you added to other people's moments no longer carries your name or your phone's id, and it goes when their moments expire.
• No way back: a deleted account cannot be restored. You can sign in again, but to a new, empty account.

What we keep

• Records of purchases, without your name, for 7 years after each purchase, because tax and accounting law requires it.
• The security log of actions on the service, without your name. We remove IP addresses and device details (user agents) from it after 12 months.
• Copies in database backups, until the backups expire.

2. If You Joined as a Guest

Without an account, what you add to a moment goes when that moment expires: 48 hours after the roll closes for a free moment, 30 days after for a paid one. To delete it sooner:

• One item: open the photo, video, or memo you added and delete it.
• Everything: email support@papershot.app with "Delete my guest data" in the subject line. Tell us the moment's invite code or name, the name you used, and the phone you used. Within 30 days we delete everything that phone added to any moment, your guest name and profile photo, and the people you blocked, and tell you when it is done. Reports you filed stay, without your phone's id.

3. Get a Copy First

With an account, go to Settings and tap Request my data for a file of your account data. You can also save any photo, video, or memo, or a whole moment, from the app while its roll is kept. Or email support@papershot.app with "Data request" in the subject line.
